Chris Ure

Chief Financial Officer & Co-Founder

Chris spent the first ten years of his career at Ernst & Young LLP (now EY) in the firm’s boutique investment banking practice, providing services to clients in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, leveraged financing, bankruptcy, restructuring, and reorganization. Chris also has more than 20 years’ experience as an entrepreneur and partner in business ventures in a variety of industries, including retail, apparel and manufacturing.

Chris is a regular contributor to a variety of industry publications, has been featured in The Wall Street Journal and has appeared on the Today Show in South Florida. Chris was appointed by Florida Governor Rick Scott as a Commissioner of the North Broward Hospital District, one of the ten largest hospital systems in the country where he served for nearly 8 years before stepping down. One of the hallmarks of his tenure at the hospital district was reducing the system’s overall public tax support by nearly $100 million. Additionally, Chris serves on the board of the Broward Health Foundation and several pension and investment committees, overseeing billions of dollars in assets. In his spare time, Chris enjoys traveling, cooking, playing golf, and spending time with his family.

Chris earned his BSBA with honors in Finance and a minor in Accounting from the University of Florida.
